BEHIND THE DESIGN OF THE NEW IMPACT SEAMLESS RANGE WITH LEAD DESIGNER LEAH TOLLEY!

Eager to give you the low down on the ins and outs of the long-anticipated range, we chatted with our Lead Women's Designer, Leah Tolley to give you a behind the scenes look at the design of the brand-new Impact Seamless range.

Meet our Lead Female designer, Leah Tolley!

Hey! I’m Leah, Doyoueven’s Lead Female Designer. I’m a 28 (ugh) year old from Melbourne who lives in leggings and slides. My educational background is in Graphic Design, yet I always imagined myself working with apparel and creating tangible things. I would call my personal style the true “Basic Bitch” haha, but I absolutely love designing with loud expressive colours… and colours are what you are going to get with the new Impact Seamless range, don’t you worry!

So, let’s firstly talk COLOUR! Honestly WOW- we are dying over the 8 different shades we have chosen, and we know we’ve covered everyone’s taste. We wanted to compliment every skin tone, body shape and age. If you think you’re only a grey or black kind of gal, just you wait… (you’re welcome!).

To me, the Impact Seamless range is all about flattery to the female figure and pure confidence. Curvy? Yeah girl! Muscly? Werkkkkk. Whatever the figure, whoever you are, whatever the goals you’re aiming for, make a positive impact. Whether it be a personal best, uplifting and inspiring someone else or dressing to look your best, always make sure you do it at 100% and be proud.

The crop

Love love love! The new Impact Crop is super flattering with contouring aspects (of course) and an open back design that lets your body breathe. Plus, we’ve got adjustable straps this time to hold up your ladies! I literally have every colour for every outfit - oops?

The leggings

We just had to bring back your favourites! The Impact Seamless Leggings are an updated version of the original DYE Seamless Leggings. The updates we’ve made are changes to the technology and composition of the fabric. Don’t worry if you think you can’t fit into them when you see them off the body, some people are shocked when they realise how much they stretch to their figure!

The material

Still comfortable, still compressive, still extremely flexible and breathable. Winning!

Now, let’s get technical… Seamless is manufactured with a woven technology, to keep the main fabric and textures seam free to sit smoother on the skin. Yarns of different fibres are spun through a machine to create one piece of material, from that one piece of material the garment is then cut and sewed where necessary. The tiny holes made by weaving the material enable the skin to stay ventilated and the fabric to wick away sweat and dry quickly.

Should we expect any more Seamless styles soon?

Definitely! We’ve got basic and we’ve gold bold, we’re trying to cover it all. I can’t give you all the details -sorry to leave you hanging - but trust me, be excited!
