What’s the best way to make sure you’re eating your greens? By blending it into a delicious smoothie, of course! Jam-packed with all the major nutritional players, this Creamy Green Smoothie will be the best way to kick-start your day! Kale? Yep! Dates? You bet. Banana? Of course! And all blended together with the queen of greens herself, Avocado. 

SERVES 1 V Vg DF

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana
1 handful of kale
1/2 a small avocado
2 medjool dates, pitted
1 cup soy milk
1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)
1/2 tsp flaxseeds (optional)
1/2 tsp spirulina powder

Method:

1. Place all ingredients into a smoothie blender and blend until smooth.

Tip: If you prefer your smoothie to be thicker, add more frozen banana. Alternatively, if you prefer a more liquid smoothie, add more milk!
